Kaitlyn Christensen, originally from a suburb of Philadelphia, PA, received her MFA in dance performance and choreography from Florida State University in 2014. She received her BA in Dance from Slippery Rock University in 2010. She has worked with: Doug Varone and Dancers, River North Chicago Dance Company, Teena Custer, Ursula Payne, Helanius Wilkins, Alex Ketley, Rodger Bellman & Gerri Houlihan. She was a member of the MacArthur Dance Project and was an intern with Koresh Dance Company. After FSU, Kaitlyn moved to NYC and worked at Gaynor Minden as their boutique manager, sales associate and video marketing assistant. In NYC, she performed and had her work shown at the Dumbo Dance Festival, was an apprentice with Ariel Rivka Dance Company, company member with Megan Lynn Asterial Dance, performed in the Comedy in Dance Festival and was a guest performer with the IKada Contemporary Dance Company. She continues to work project based with Gaynor Minden on videos and is excited for her second year with SGBC!

Melissa June earned her B.F.A. in Dance from Florida State University and has trained and performed with many companies around the southeast including: The Civic Ballet of Volusia County, Tallahassee Ballet, FSU’s Dance Reparatory Theatre, University of South Carolina Dance Department and Columbia City Ballet. Melissa has also served as Ballet Mistress for the Civic Ballet of Volusia County and the Professional Track program director at European School of Performing Arts. She has had many students move on to programs with Julliard, The Joffrey Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Next Generation Ballet at the Patel Conservatory, UNCSA, USF, Florida School for the Arts, and FSU’s dance programs.

been actively involved in the region as a choreographer and director working with Tallahassee Ballet, Brookwood’s Drama Guild, Thomasville’s Music and Drama Troupe, Bainbridge Little Theatre, Cairo High School Drama Department, Young Actors Theatre, the Grady County Junior Miss Program, and Syrup City Players. She has served on the Dance Panel for the Georgia Council for the Arts and as Vice President for the Friends of Dance for Florida State University’s School of Dance and is currently the dance instructor for Scholars Academy and Scott Elementary School.

ALISON BUNDRICK    SGB Founding Director, SGBC Owner

Alison Bundrick is the Owner and Founder of South Georgia Ballet Conservatory and has an extensive performing, teaching and choreographic career. An Albany native, she holds a B.A. in Dance from Birmingham-Southern College and a M.F.A. in Dance from Florida State University. She graduated from Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s Professional Division Teachers Course of Canada and was awarded her Associate status for the Cecchetti Society of London. She served as Artistic Director for Young Actors Theatre, Ballet Chairman for DeKalb Center for Performing Arts, School Director for Orlando Ballet, and resident choreographer for a variety of schools and companies. She has worked with many national and international teachers and choreographers including Suzanne Farrell, David Howard, John White, Violet Verdi, Gelsey Kirkland, Gemze De Lappe, Zoya Laporska, Bill Ross and Galina Yordonava. Daphne Tuten is a mother of 3, with her B.S. in Early Childhood Education. She danced for 17 years with Pritchett-Pippin in Albany, GA, has been a team leader for Matilda Jane Clothing for 6 years and an Acro Instructor for 7 years. 

Paige Knuckles is a 2016 Thomasville Scholars Academy graduate and has her Associates of Arts in Liberal Studies Degree. She has participated in gymnastics for 6 years, cheerleading for 10 years, was a Red Hot Danceline member and THS Varsity Cheerleader. She has coached gymnastics & tumbling for 4 years and recently began instructing acrobatics. 


Kathleen Ewing is originally from Valdosta, Georgia where she studied ballet, modern, and jazz dance for 15 years, under the direction of Linda C. Chase at Dance Arts, Inc. Kathleen graduated from Florida State University Magna Cum Laude and Honors with her B.F.A in Dance this past April. While attending Florida State Kathleen studied dance abroad in Paris, France and attended Perry Mansfield Performing Arts Camp. She has also coached and choreographed the dance performances for the award winning Georgia Bridgemen and Cook High School marching bands. Kathleen has a passion for dance education and engagement. She plans on attending graduate school to earn her M.A in Arts Administration in the near future. 


Aubrey Brinkley is currently a senior at the Scholars Academy and is looking forward to pursuing a career in Dance Therapy. This is Aubrey's 15th year dancing and has been a senior company member for 5 years with South Georgia Ballet. She is looking forward to sharing her joy of dance by helping new dancers reach their goals and fall in love with the art of ballet. 



Rebecca Ross began dancing at the Dance Zone in Melbourne, FL. She attended various summer programs including The Rock School, Jacob's Pillow, Boston Conservatory, and Sarasota Ballet. Rebecca graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance Performance from the University of Arizona. While in college, she had the honor to perform works by George Balanchine, James Clouser, Susan Quinn, Michael Williams and Melissa Lowe. Rebecca spent two years dancing with David Taylor Dance Theater in  Denver, Colorado before moving to New York City. During her 8 yrs in NYC, Rebecca dance with Neglia Ballet Artists, Nomad Contemporary Ballet, Kinetic Works Dance Company, Six Degrees Dance, Felice Lesser Dance and Ellen Stokes Shadle/Danceworks. In addition, she taught for various summer programs and studios including Belvoir Terrace, 92nd St Y and American Youth Dance Theater.





Shelby Mitchell studied with SGB and worked as a teaching assistant and company manager.  She received her B.F.A in Mass Media from Valdosta State University and was a member of the Red Hots Collegiate Dance Team, earning a National Championship at the National Dance Alliance National Competition in 2011.  She is also employed as a Dance Teacher at Thomas County Middle School.

Katie, a senior in high school at Scholars Academy, has been dancing for 14 years. She has been a member of South Georgia Ballet for 9 years and has been assistant teaching for 6 years. She is a member of the Thomasville Music and Drama Troupe and serves as the co-captain. Katie loves working with children and sharing her love for dance. Upon graduation, Katie plans to pursue a career in Speech Language Pathology with a minor in Dance Education. She looks forward to working with South Georgia Ballet Conservatory's youngest ballerinas! 

Stephanie Sculley graduated from Thomasville High School Scholars Academy in May of 2016. She is now attending Southern Regional Technical College to pursue her career in Nursing. Stephanie danced for 14 years and was a member of South Georgia Ballet for 10 years. She has assisted in the Summer Dance Camps for 5 years and is now excited to work with the kids. 


 Ircamar García Rodríguez is a Puerto Rican dancer, choreographer, performer, and teacher. Her training background ranges from classical ballet, modern and contemporary technique, jazz, and latin dances. She possesses a Bachelor in Theatre Education from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from Florida State University. During her 12 year artistic career in the island, she worked with Hincapié Contemporary Dance Company under the artistic direction of Petra Bravo, Dramadanza Company directed by Waldo Gonzalez, and Ballet Brío under Rodney Rivera’s direction. She has performed internationally in Italy, Sicily, Cuba, and the Domincan Republic. She is also an actress and a singer and has performed in musicals like Evita and the operetta Maria de Buenos Aires  in the leading role as “the shadow” of María. She is also a certified Balanced Body Pilates Instructror. 

MORGAN RHODEN   SGBC / SGB Assistant to the Directors

Morgan Rhoden is a 2008 graduate of Thomas County Central High School and received her Business Administration degree from Southwest Georgia Technical College in 2012.  She worked for many years with Lewis Produce at the State Farmers Market and joined SGB and SGBC in August.  Her biggest joy is her son, Carson, who loves the outdoors and Yellow Jacket football.
